Lake Jacksonville

On Friday, Mikey and I packed up the Jeep and headed East to Lake Jacksonville. My Uncle Bruce & Aunt Lisa built a lake house last summer and we finally were able to pick a weekend that we could come spend with them. Mom, Dad & Mycah drove down too, so there were 9 of us.

Saturday, we had a delicious pancake breakfast and we spent the day laying on the deck in the sun. We finally got a picture of all of us. We are trying to get better at this when we are all together. We took a boat ride around the lake, but it was a little chilly. Saturday night, we had a big fish fry. We literally caught a fish, cleaned it, and threw it in the frier..talk about fresh fish!

Sunday was much warmer. We went joy riding on the jet skis and Mikey did some wake-boarding, which he decided gets harder as he gets older. The guy that took him out used to compete and he was awesome. He did all kind of grabs and flips (I don't know what they are called in wakeboarding terms), but he made them look so easy!

We packed the jeep back up and headed home. We had so much fun and it was so relaxing. The weather was gorgeous all weekend!
