This weekend was busy. Saturday morning we headed over to Truckfest at Market Hall where our jeep was being shown, or displayed. I'm not really sure what the term is. We were like two parents going to our son's first tee ball game. It is so cool to think that in a couple years, we really could be taking our son to his first tee ball game. We have so much to look forward to with this new adventure! Until then, we are proud of the jeep. We even took pictures! Of course it was the best looking jeep there. After Truckfest, we headed over to the Annual Aggie Crawfish Boil. I had not been in 4 years and Mikey had never been, so we were excited. It was at Firewater off of Northwest Highway and 35. It was a perfect place to have it. You can't beat ALL YOU CAN EAT & DRINK!! Even though I was not able to partake in either, Mikey ate enough crawfish for the both of us. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the live music. It is amazing how many aggies are in Dallas. We are proud of our alma mater.
Saturday night, I met the girls for Shannon's Birthday Dinner. Shannon actually shares the same birthday as Mom. It is a very special day. Apparently, if you show up at Mi Cocina in West Village at 7pm on a Saturday night with 9 people and want to sit outside, there is a two hour wait. Luckily there is a big bar and enough Mambo Taxis to keep everyone happy until dinner. It was fun seeing everyone and catching up. The weather was perfect to sit outside. We had so much fun! Thanks for being born Shannon!Sunday Mikey spent the day at Lake Lewisville and I had the girls over to the pool. It was another perfect day to lay in the sun. Sorry, no pictures of this day, but you can take my word for it. We got a great tan! Quick shout out to Christi! Dylan will be here in less than a month!!
I hope everyone has a great week!!
