Christmas 2009

We had a White Christmas this year! It actually snowed on Christmas Eve, but the snow was still on the ground when we woke up Christmas morning. Here is a picture I took at our house when it started snowing on Christmas Eve.

And this is what we woke up to on Christmas Morning at Marmee & Guy's house.

Santa brought Kiley a lot of fun things. Here she is on her new bean bag.

Marmee & Kiley playing with her new puzzle. She loved to dump the pieces out, so we need to work on putting them back in.

Aunt M helping Kiley go through her stocking.

Aunt M reading Kiley's new book to her.

Kiley watching her new Christmas Movie with Daddie.

The Christmas Tree before we opened presents.

Kiley in her new hat that Marmee and Guy got for her.

Kiley spending some quality time with Nonie (her Great Grandmother).

The Dinner Table. Dinner was so amazing. Nonie's Prime Rib is the best in the world!

The Center Piece Mom made from clippings in the yard.

Kiley getting a little too comfortable at the dinner table.

We had such a blessed Christmas this year. As you can see, it was definitely all about Kiley. It was so much fun to see her experience her 2nd Christmas. We are so thankful for everything we received and even more thankful for the time we spent with family and friends during the holiday season. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Baird Family Christmas

On Wednesday, we celebrated the Baird Family Christmas up at Grammy and Grampy's house. We went up early in the afternoon. Mikey played golf with his Dad and Grammy watched Kiley while I went and got a Mani Pedi. We had a delicious dinner and then opened presents.

Kiley got a cute little ornament for her tree.

Mikey opening one of our gifts. I think he was pretty excited.

Kiley had so much fun with the tissue paper. (We had a spitup mishap, which is why she has no shirt on. ps To all of you up North, it was 74 degrees that day, so she was not cold =).)

Katie got her a cute little blanket. We put it on her head for a silly picture.

Kiley giving Grammy kisses thanking her for all of her gifts.

Thank you Grammy, Grampy and Auntie K for a very special Christmas. We had so much fun and can't wait to see you again very soon!!

More Christmas Celebrations...

I apologize for being so behind on my blogs. We have been so busy celebrating the wonderful holiday of Christmas.

Last Tuesday, the 15th, Kiley stayed with Grammy & Grampy and Mikey and I went to the Delta Chi Alumni Dinner. The food was delicious as always and it was so much fun catching up with everyone!

Then on Friday, the 18th, Kiley and I went to another Girls' Only Christmas Party. (Top: Hilary, Lacey, Kiley & Gretchen Bottom: Lisa, Addie & Trisha)

The little girls were so cute together.

We took pictures once everyone arrived. Hilary & Kiley

Lisa with the Girls

After pictures, we opened presents before the little girls went home. We drew names and exchanged ornaments. Addie helped all of us open presents. First, she helped Aunt Hilary.

Then she helped her Mommy.

Then Aunt Quita

And Aunt T

And Finally Aunt Lacey. That was a lot of presents and Addie did such a great job. She was getting warmed up for the big day!

After presents, Addie did some dancing for us. Here she is raising the roof.

Gretchen made so much delicious food. After the little girls left, we sat around and talked all night. It was so much fun being with my girls. We love you all!!

On Sunday, the 20th, the 3 of us went to our neighbor's house down the street for a Christmas Celebration. Unfortunately we did not take any pictures, but we had fun catching up with everyone. The weather was perfect for the 3 of us to walk down. We didn't get to stay too long because Kiley had to get into bed, but we made the most of it and had some great conversations. We live in a great neighborhood and have wonderful neighbors!

On Tuesday, the 22nd, Kiley and I went to my work Christmas Party. It was a Potluck lunch. We all brought and dish and had a $10 gift exchange. Look at all of the delicious food.

Kiley sat on her blanket and had a picnic.

And Caris sat in her chair.

And Lisa

We have such a great office staff. It was so much fun exchanging gifts. We all started with our gift and Lisa read a story with the words "Left" and "Right" in it. Each time she said those words, we passed a gift in that direction, and then opened the gift that we ended up with. Kiley and I had a blast with you girls. Merry Christmas!

Kiley & Santa

I took Kiley up to Mikey's work for their annual Santa Party. Kiley was only a few weeks old last year and pretty much slept through the whole thing. Take a look:

Santa Baby

This year she was wide awake and loved all of the action. She watched the kids sing Christmas Songs while they waited for Santa.

Kiley with Daddie

Kiley was one of the first kids called. Each kid gets two gifts. They get to keep one and then they donate one to the Children's Cancer Foundation. We had no idea how she would react to him and she did so good.

She was so curious.

We took a picture with Robin and Caris like we did last year.

Of course, the girls were more interested in each other than the camera.

7th Annual Texmas Party

On Saturday we hosted the 7th Annual Texmas Party. Each year, we get together with the same group for our annual Christmas Celebration. We have a potluck dinner, exchange secret santa gifts and play games.

Mikey put some fun decorations on the front steps to greet our guests.

I made a slideshow of the past 6 years of our parties. Everyone sat and watched the slideshow after dinner.

Courtney got Kiley and Bella a present. It was wrapped so cute.

Kiley got some adorable Baby Gap Reindeer PJs. She looks so cute in them. Thanks Aunt Courtney!

Kiley got to stay up while we opened presents.

After we put Kiley to bed, the Girls had a little holiday treat.

We finished the night with 3 games of Catch Phrase (which the girls won 2 out of 3) and a game of Apples 2 Apples. We had such a great time with everyone. Merry Christmas!
