Kiley's 7th birthday was so special. We did all of her favorite things and her excitement and reactions were absolutely priceless. The weekend before her birthday, she came and sat with me during quiet time and fell asleep in my lap. She hadn't fallen asleep in my arms in years. It was so precious.
Her actual birthday was on a Tuesday, so after I picked up Presley and Bentley from school we went and picked up Kiley early from her school. We met our friends, Stacey and Jax, at Pump It Up and they had a blast!
While we were at Pump It Up Daddie came home and got the rest of the birthday surprises set up.
Surprise number one: Kiley loves watching Surprise Egg videos on the iPad, so I wrapped all of her presents in plastic eggs and play doh. Mikey turned kids music on and she went right to town opening her presents. The video is absolutely priceless. Here are a few pictures of her opening the eggs. Each time she opened an egg, she yelled out what it was (bandaid, doc mcstuffins figurine or play doh), then she would throw her hands up and do a little dance. It was so cute.
Surprise number two: Daddie surprised her with a Big Wheel and 7 balloons!
The kids ate Kiley's favorite foods. Pizza as an appetizer and macaroni and cheese for dinner.
We sang Happy Birthday to Kiley over a chocolate chip cookie!
And then she danced her little heart out.
Celebrating Kiley's birthday with just the 5 of us was so much fun and truly memorable. Her joy melted our hearts. The weekend after her actual birthday, we celebrated with the rest of the family! Marmee and Guy gave her some super cute outfits and cute shoes and Grammy and Grampy got her...wait for it...Her very own iPad!!
Thanks to Marmee, Guy, Grammy, Grampy, Mycah, Katie and Trey for helping us make Kiley's 7th birthday extra special just like she is!
