We love our teachers!

A few weeks ago was Teacher Appreciation Week and once again, I had fun with the gifts for the girls' teachers.

On Monday for Kiley's teachers, we wrapped up a bunch of snacks for the week.

We used this stamp as the theme for the week.

And I stamped the girls names on the back of all of the tags on the gifts.

On Tuesday, we gave Kiley and Presley's teachers fun pinwheels.

On Wednesday, we put a bunch of school supplies in these folders for Kiley's teachers.

On Thursday, we gave all of the teachers some pretty votive candles. These were for Presley's teachers.

And for Kiley's teachers.

A closeup of the holder....

On Friday, we gave Kiley's teachers each a small picture frame.

We also gave all of the teachers, bus drivers, bus aides and therapists gifts for the end of the year. For all of the teachers, we bought them target gift cards.

For Presley's teachers.

For Kiley's teachers.

For all of Kiley's therapists, we bought them starbuck's gift cards.

And for Kiley's bus driver's and bus aides, I cut out these fun cards on the cricut.

And I taped a starbuck's gift card on the back.

Kiley had an End of the Year party. We gave her teachers their gifts and had lunch and ice cream with all of her classmates.

One of her friends giving her a hug goodbye.

Kiley's last picture with Ms. Mary and Ms. Connie.

Kiley has had Ms. Mary and Ms. Connie for the last two years. These two women have such a gift and they are so good at what they do. Kiley loves going to school each day. We have been truley blessed to have them in Kiley's life. We absolutely love them. It is so amazing to hear them talk about Kiley. They know her almost as well as we do and as a parent, there is nothing better knowing that Kiley is in their care each day. She has learned and blossomed so much over the last two years. All of these fun little gifts show only a fraction of our appreciation for these two women. Kiley has been assigned a new teacher for next year. She doesn't understand that yet, but Mommy has already shed a few tears knowing that Kiley will go to a different classroom. We have been so lucky to have Ms. Mary and Ms. Connie two years in a row. I know that Kiley having a new teacher next year will be good for her before she goes off to kinder. She loves school and will do great next year, but there is no doubt that we will all miss Ms. Mary and Ms. Connie and we will never forget what they have done for Kiley.

Trisha's Bachelorette Party!

Last weekend I got away for about 24 hours for Trisha's Bachelorette Party! It was my first night away from Bentley. He stayed with Marmee and Guy and the girls stayed home and had fun with Daddie! We went to Lake Granbury. On my drive down there, I got my first update from Daddie. The girls were at McDonald's.

Mikey took the girls to a respite program at a church nearby to play for a few hours. He got a nice break and went to see a movie! In anticipation of the girls going out in public, I was able to dress them and fix their hair before I left.

All of the girls met at the lakehouse and then we went to lunch at a super cute place in downtown Glen Rose.

After lunch we went to Trisha's favorite winery. A picture with the bride!

My girls!!

Daddie sent another picture of the girls with their friends having dinner.

We went back to the lakehouse and gave Trisha a lingerie shower and snacked and had some fun girl time the rest of the night.

I checked my phone at about 830pm because I had not heard from Marmee and Guy all day and this is the update they had sent me titled "7pm Feeding". Ha ha. So funny....

Thanks so much to Marmee, Guy and Daddie for taking care of the kids and giving Mommy some much needed girl time! We can't wait to celebrate Trisha and Chris in less than two weeks!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a houseful on Memorial Weekend! We had 15 adults and 5 kids! We cooked out and swam all weekend!

The little girls having lunch.

We had to take our girl picture! Miss you Hannah & Emily!

Jumping in!

One with Marmee, Gigi and the little girls!

I guess the guys didn't make it into any of the pictures....it was a fun weekend!

Our 3 kiddos!

Here are a few pictures of what our 3 little kiddos have been up to lately!

Kiley has started pulling her hair out. It is a sensory condition. It is very unfortunate and so hard to see her balding head. We recently tried putting bandaids on her thumbs and fingers to prevent it. She is showing us her cool bandaids.

Of course Presley needed a band aid too.

Unfortunately the bandaids did not work.

One morning, Presley was playing with a tape measure and she was wearing my red heels. I thought it was an interesting combination. Not sure what she wants to be when she grows up.

Mikey bought some speakers for outside and they are in the office until we are ready to put them up. Presley decided that they make a good stool.

Bentley is big enough to play in the bouncer now!

Presley doing a little pumping....

Our handsome little boy!

An even bigger smile!

We took Bentley to his first Rangers Game!

Watching the news with Daddie.

Enjoying the weather!

Popsicles by the pool!

Stacey and Jason got this shirt for Kiley when she was born and all 3 of my kids have worn it!

This isn't a very clear picture, but Bentley has started sucking on his fingers.

The girls made a pallet on the floor with Daddie!

Bentley fell asleep in his swing while playing....

Our 3 little angels in our bed.

Bentley & Baby

Presley had to get in on the picture too.

Presley's Potty Training!

A few weeks ago, we potty trained Presley. I read an ebook that was a 3 day potty training method! You basically have the child drink a lot of fluids all weekend and watch their every move. They wear panties and a shirt and every time they need to go potty you run them to the bathroom. When they go in the potty, they get a treat. It helps program their brain that when they need to go to the bathroom, they go in the big potty.

The Friday before the weekend, I took Presley shopping. She picked out 2 potty seats (one for upstairs and one for downstairs), big girl wipes, new big girl panties, a new cup, some yummy juice and plenty of treats (aka Candy)!

I put her treats in two different bowls. One was for going #1 in the potty and the other bowl was for #2.

On Saturday morning when she woke up, we took her LAST diaper off and put her pretty new panties and tank top on and filled up her cup!

She started getting silly with the posing.

Presley did so well! She only had two tee tee accidents before it clicked and one poo poo accident! She is such a smart little girl and she caught on so quickly. We are so proud of her! Having 3 in diapers is a lot of work and our little Presley Marie is making things easier on Mommy. And she gave Daddie got a pay raise! The other day, Presley needed to go #2 and she asked me for asked me for a magazine.

I think we can say that she has the hang of this potty thing! ?

Kiley's Trip to the Zoo!

Aunt Mycah and Uncle Josh took Kiley to the zoo!

Kiley and Uncle Josh on the choo choo train!

A safari jeep ride!

Lunch!

Thank you Aunt Mycah and Uncle Josh for a very special day at the zoo. Kiley had so much fun and she loves you very much!

Mother's Day 2013

On Mother's Day, my family and Mikey's family all came to the house for a late lunch! We requested hamburgers on the grill and the guys did not disappoint. Marmee, Guy and Mycah arrived!

Presley made me this sweet card at school!

And Kiley made me this one!

Mom sent me a sweet card and Mycah brought me some beautiful daisies!

The Tuesday after Mother's Day, I went to Presley's school for Muffins with Mom!

She gave me this sweet piece of art that I will cherish forever!

Bentley bought me a new pair of shoes! This is a funny picture of him. I laid him on the couch to nap and realized he is getting a little too mobile for the couch.

I had a great Mother's Day and felt very special!

The next day was Marmee's birthday. We met Marmee and Guy at the park downtown to celebrate. Presley had so much fun in the fountains!

And Bentley napped!

Happy Birthday Marmee! We had so much fun celebrating with you!
