Summer Road Trip: Indianapolis

On our next leg of the trip, we drove from St. Louis, Missouri to Indianapolis, Indiana. It was a short 4 hours and 8 minutes and 264.1 miles. It was our first time in Indiana. We visited Mikey's friend from High School and our mutual college friend, Todd and his beautiful family. They have 3 daughters so we knew with 6 kids it would be chaos all around. It ended up being so much fun and we wished we would have planned to stay longer. The kids are still talking about it. They live in a beautiful home on the Geist Reservoir. We spent our time by the pool and on the lake.

Todd picked fresh tomatoes and basil from his garden and made some appetizers. Yum!!

We spent the next morning by the pool.

Bentley made himself at home.

Back out on the lake!

Bentley surfed with Daddie.

I was hesitant about letting Kiley tube because I was nervous about her falling off. I finally gave in and she had a blast!

And then the big boys had to join in on the fun!

We fed the kids early and then had a nice sushi "somewhat" adult dinner.

Bentley didn't even make it out of his swim trunks...

We had such an amazing time with The Ford Family. Thank you for opening up your home to us. We hope to stay longer next time!! Love you guys!

The kids had a blast but were worn out. Made for somewhat of a quiet drive...
