School and other things...

Bentley had PJ Day at school and was so excited. He asks to have PJ day again quite frequently. When Presley had PJ day, she refused to wear PJs to school.

Now that they all ride without training wheels, they do a lot of bike riding!

This is one of Presley's writing assignments. Translation: I was waiting for my cousin to come to my house.

Here is another one. Translation: She got to my house. My cousin's name is Addie. I got to hold her on the couch.

Presley dressed up like a 100 year old for her 100th day of school.

Another Friday morning at Good Morning Pink. Presley was excited for us to see her new Kindergarten Chant and they won the spirit stick.

Our house has officially become a nerf gun war zone.

The kids got to swim in the hot tub one warm day.

I usually don't like to cook on the weekends but Mikey had a craving for a nice steak dinner. We cooked together and grilled steaks and made homemade mashed potatoes and homemade onion straws.

Presley will kill me one day when she reads this but it has to be documented. One night while I was cooking dinner, Presley said she wanted to tell me something but she was being shy. So she went upstairs and wrote this and gave it to me.

Translation: BOYFRIEND. What??? She is in Kindergarten. She is smitten with her classmate Smith. She says that he doesn't know it, but he is her boyfriend. Cute, but scary!!

We finally started patching Kiley's eye. Over the Summer, her right eye started turning in. It was because of her astigmatism. Before she got glasses, her left eye was doing all of the work so her brain shut down her right eye. We have to patch it two hours per day to try to strengthen the right eye and hopefully prevent surgery.

All 5 of us went to Target together one Saturday. The boys rode their bikes and the girls walked. Of course Mikey ended up waiting outside with them while I shopped...

The Sunday before we left for Spring Break, the kids were invited to a birthday party at Pump It Up. Mikey took all 3 kids and let me stay home to pack. Thanks honey!
