Spring Break 2017

For the last 5 years, we have been visiting Grammy and Grampy in Naples, Florida. This year we changed things up. We first flew into Tampa and met Grammy and Grampy in Clearwater, Florida.

On the tram at the airport. Always very exciting.

We stayed in a brand new hotel and it was awesome! These were the views from the balcony.

This was from the front of the hotel. We walked across the small street to get to the beach.

Oh how we have missed the beach!

Clearwater was different than Naples. We could walk down the street to stores and restaurants. There was a Pier right down the street where there were street acts leading up to Sunset. The kids loved them.

This is what the kids did in their downtime. Man, they have a rough life.

We spent our last full day by the pool. It was a little cool and windy so we had to cuddle.

We spent 3 nights in Clearwater and then we drove to Orlando where we were going to stay for 7 nights! We stayed in a big 4 bedroom 4 bathroom condo!

And these were the views from our top floor Suite. We could see Epcot!

There were so many things for the kids to do. There was an ice cream social every afternoon.

There was a Putt Putt Golf Course.

Bounce Houses and Snow Cones.

Koi Fish!

Water Slides and Lazy Rivers.

Face Painting

Katie, Trey and Addie flew in the day after we got there. We had a lot of fun family time together.

One night we had S'Mores.

Bentley got a little worn out one day and fell asleep in a small chair in the living room.

Mikey and I, Kiley and Bentley went to lunch one day. We had an amazing baja burger and jalapeno margarita.

One day in the middle of the week we went to Magic Kingdom!! In the parking lot before we got on the monorail.

We put ID Tattoos on all of the kids and took pictures of them for ID purposes.

We took one of Addie just because. We didn't think we would lose her.

Waiting for the monorail!

On Main Street and ready to go!

We took our Family Picture in front of Cinderella's Castle.

Now, let the rides begin! The first ride we rode was Winnie the Pooh and then we headed over to Dumbo and Mad Tea Party.

Then we hit the roller coasters. We did the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Goofy's Barnstormer and road Big Thunder Mountain 3 times! The kids LOVED the roller coasters. We ended up not getting any character autographs because they would rather spend the time waiting in line for the rides. Mikey said we may as well have went to Six Flags....

Aunt Katie and the kids taking a break in between rides.

We also road Pirate's of the Caribbean, Peter Pan and It's a Small World.

We ate lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern. We had Burgers, Fries and Ice Cream. It was delicious.

After lunch we headed over to Tomorrow Land where we road the Rocket Ships and the "big kids" road Space Mountain.

It looks like Uncle Trey knew where the camera was.

On the way to Mickey's Philamalargic Show, the kids had fun playing with some swords.

We all had fun on the Buzz Light Year ride.

The last ride we rode was The People Mover. We sure made it look fun!

Back in the parking lot at the end of the day. We were all exhausted. We left before the fireworks because we watched them from our balcony each night anyway. We survived and we only almost lost Bentley twice. Once at the restaurant and once on the monorail.

The adults were exhausted so I can't imagine how exhausted the kids felt. Bentley fell asleep in the car on the way home and Presley fell asleep after watching her iPad for less than 5 minutes.

After we got back home from vacation, it still took Bentley a few days to get rested up.

This note was in his folder after his first day back to school.

We had such an amazing Spring Break this year. We loved the beach and we loved Disney! We loved having the whole family together and made many special memories. Thanks to Grammy and Grampy for letting us stay with them at two amazing places. We are so excited to go back to Clearwater next Spring Break!
