1st Day(s) of School

Prior to the kids' first day of school, we did some school shopping! Presley and I went school shopping in Missouri! This is one of the outfits that we bought.

After we came home from Missouri, all SIX of us went school shopping for Kiley. Now that was fun.

We had Meet the Teacher for both girls on the same night at two different schools. And of course it was pouring rain.

The girls started school the last week in August.

We first got Kiley off to Second Grade. She is always so cooperative with the sign...

And it was this sweet girl's first day of KINDERGARTEN!!

She knew exactly what to do with the sign!

Bentley wanted to get in on the action too!

Marmee even came up for the special occasion! I'm not sure if it was more for Presley or more for Mommy!

We got to walk her in on the first two days. She did great, of course!

Once the girls were back in school, I took Bentley school shopping. The only fun things to buy with boys are shoes!

Bentley started school a couple of weeks after the girls. Our little handsome man and his many faces.

Now that Bentley is 3, he gets to be on the Academy side of the school. He is so excited to be able to play on the big playground.

Since Bentley has started back to school, his teachers have been so proud of him. Remember, last year he was in and out of time out and the office pretty frequently. Well, this year, he is a completely different kid. All of his teachers have come up to me at different times to tell me how well he is doing. He is literally a star student. He listens, he participates, and does everything he is asked to do. He is a good helper. We are so proud of him. This is a teacher comment one day after school.

We all survived the first days of school. Mommy is glad to have a little free time a couple of days a week to catch up from the Summer! We will have more school updates soon!
