We went to "Meet the Teacher" last week and it went pretty well. We had a separate "Meet the Teacher" from the rest of the school so that the kids wouldn't be overwhelmed the first time in their new school. Kiley has one teacher and two aides and there are two other kids in her class. We also got to meet the principal, assistant principal and the school nurse. Kiley was pretty clingy and shy at first.
Once her teacher opened up the rice table, she warmed up and started playing.
Kiley wasn't too sure about the sign, so I had Presley show her how to hold it.
She still wasn't too sure about the sign and wouldn't stand up and hold it.
She was happy as long as sister was in the picture with her!
I tried to get a picture of her pretty dress, but my phone was not taking clear pictures...
Much better. Daddie fixed my phone. Kiley was excited to get her backpack on!
We headed outside to wait for the bus!

Getting on the bus! The driver and aide seem really nice and she had the same ones in the morning and afternoon!
She was happy when I got her off of the bus yesterday afternoon. She had therapy and then we went to the gym. She was a little tired but in a very good mood. So she survived her first long day of school!
Kiley was up bright and early this morning and the first thing she said was "School". She was excited to go back and that makes Mommy very happy!!
