We woke up early Saturday morning and got on the road by 530am. I packed toys for all 3 kids in hopes of keeping them busy for the 8 hour trip. Presley kept busy with some stickers.
We recently switched the car seats around because Bentley is too heavy to put in the middle. This switch was a mistake for an 8 hour road trip. The girls fought and screamed the whole trip!
Bentley picked our trip to really get mobile! He was all over the place. Our future golfer!
Poor Presley got a stomach bug the 2nd day we were there. The next day, we needed to get the kids out of the house and Pres was still exhausted from the day before....
We drove over the dam.
It was a lot hotter this year, so Mikey took the girls in the lake (which is a lot cooler than our swimming pool at home). Presley, who is our little fish, was the first one in...
And the first one out.....
We made her stay in for a quick picture, but you can tell she isn't happy. She did not like the cold water. It didn't phase Kiley one bit!
Presley and Bentley played up on the deck while Daddie took Kiley out on the jet ski.
The girls helped Daddie with the cooler to take on our boat ride.
Presley in her cool shades that Uncle Bob let her wear.
The boys....YES,BOYS! And Yes, B is wearing a pink life jacket....he has two older sisters.....
Mommy with Kiley and Bentley. Bentley was such a tropper in his life jacket. He is smaller than the girls were during their first summer....
Our captain, Uncle Bob.
Happy Hour on the dock!
Bentley's dinner time.
Daddie took the girls to get new shoes one day. Isn't that a great smile....
We spent Friday with our friend, Nikki and her parents. She took some pictures and made some fun collages out of them.
Presley driving the big boat!
Kiley driving the big boat!
Mommy and Bentley. He is becomming quite the poser for pictures!
Mikey and Aunt Kathy
We had such a wonderful trip and we enjoyed our quality time with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bob. We enjoyed being on the lake, but most of all we enjoyed all of the fun talks, laughs and tears shared over the week. We love you guys so much and we can't wait to come back next year!
Before we left, we took a few pictures of the 5 of us in our tye die shirts that Daddie bought us while souvineer shopping. A family that tye dies together, stays together....
