Speaking of being active, he is now sitting up on his own.
And crawling!!
He can also transfer an object from one hand to the other!
He is still nursing 5 times a day, 8am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm and 715pm. He sleeps from 730pm until 8am each night and is still napping in between feedings at 9:30am, 1230pm, and 330pm. Another big milestone is that he has started solid foods. We started rice cereal and oatmeal at 5 months and he loves eating from a spoon! We just recently started fruits and veggies. We made a few fruits and veggies for him to start with.
So far, he has tried sweet potatoes, avocado and carrots. He is getting two solid feedings in between nursing each day. He has a fruit or veggie in the mornings and oatmeal in the evenings. As you can see, the feedings are still pretty messy!
He also started practicing with a sippy cup!
Bentley is still the most happy, easy going baby! He is always smiling. He loves playing on the ground now that he is crawling. He can chase a ball around for hours if we would let him. He is good in the car, he will take naps in other places and is such a good sleeper and eater. He still mainly just squeels for communication. No consonant sounds yet. When not on the floor, he plays in his bouncer. He loves his sisters and almost loves Mommy as much as I love him! He still does a lot of wheezing, coughing and spitting up. I hope it is still just his reflux and not something more serious. He never seems to have difficulty breathing or be in any pain. Just as happy as can be!
You may have noticed that the picture on the top is not showing his face. I absolutely could not get a picture of him sitting still by the monkey and I wanted to show his size. He is a little monkey himself. Here are some of my attempts.
