Daddie's Girl

Kiley is 8 weeks old today. I can't believe it. She is almost 2 months old. I know I say this all the time, but she really does change every day. She is getting more alert and more curious. She is holding her head up great and she is acknowledging us more and more. When she hears our voices, she looks for us. She is definitely a Daddie's girl. He is so good at calming her down and putting her to sleep. She feels so comfortable in his arms. When she hears his voice, she looks all over for him until she sees him. She is gaining weight also. Her 2 month checkup is later this month, so we don't know exactly how much she weighs, but our arms are getting sore holding her. She is getting more rolls on her little legs too and has upgraded to size 1 diapers! Our little girl is growing up.

Mikey put together Kiley's Baby Einstein Gym over the holidays (Thanks Aunt Tamra!). She is getting close to the age where she can start grabbing for things, so we thought we would start to stimulate her brain. Here are a couple of pictures of her in her new gym.

If you look closely at her outfit, it says "If you think I am cool, you should meet my Dad." Kiley definitely enjoyed her time with her Daddie over the holidays while he was off. He went back to work today and we sure miss him!

She looks so curious in this one. Oh, and you can't see, but her little socks say Daddy's Princess on the bottom of them!
