Bentley's 3rd Birthday!

Bentley turned 3 years old on February 5th!

His actual birthday was on a Friday so I took Presley and Bentley to play at Pump It Up. Daddie met us there after a short day at work and then the 4 of us went to lunch!

Daddie surprised Bentley with his very own skateboard!

On Saturday, Marmee, Guy, Aunt Mycah, Aunt Katie and Uncle Trey all came up to celebrate!

I bought each of the kids a surprise egg!

Bentley wanted a tractor cake, so Mommy made him a tractor cake!

We ate dinner, sang Happy Birthday, ate cake and opened presents!

Aunt Mycah gave Bentley a "big boy" haircut!

Bentley got some magnaformers and they are fun for the whole family!

A week or so later, I took Bentley to his 3 year checkup. He is 3 feet 1.5 inches (52%)tall and weighs 33 pounds (65%).

He is our sweet, smart, athletic little boy. He has taught us so much about being a parent to a boy. He loves anything that moves: Cars, Trucks, Trains, Boats, Airplanes, Helicopters, Monster Trucks and most of all, Tractors. We can drive past any given construction site and he can name every single tractor: Bulldozer, Excavator, Rock Roller, Trencher, etc. (I am still learning them). He loves school, soccer and swimming!

Developmentally, he is right on track. He does A LOT of talking. He sleeps about 12 hours a night and most days he still takes about a 2 hour nap. He is fully potty trained. No pull-ups or diapers, yah!! He is a good eater and plays pretty well with others. He knows his colors and can count to 10. He loves to make up songs.

When we took him to his appointment, he ended up having an ear infection. He never had a fever so we had no idea. Once we got him on antibiotics, he has been a perfect angel at school. Ever since he turned 3 he has had 0 time outs and 0 office visits. We are so proud!!

Bentley loves being outside. He loves riding on his scooter and playing on the swing set. He is a fast runner and even faster on his scooter. He is very curious. He is always asking what everything is and if you are talking, he asks you what you are talking about. He loves to climb on things and more importantly jump off of things. He falls...A LOT. He is ALL BOY, but also Mommy's Boy! He is the cutest little boy on this earth and he knows how to get to Mommy. He will say, "Ok Mommy" and it is the cutest little set of words I have ever heard. He gives great kisses and big hugs. We are so blessed to be parents of such an amazing little boy. We can't wait to see what is to come in raising him over the next year!
