Bentley is 15 months old!!

Our baby boy is 15 months old and learning and growing so fast! He is on the move. Not only is he walking, but he is running ALL OVER THE PLACE. If he is inside, he goes from room to room before you can even turn around. He is in every cupboard, pulls everthing out in a matter of seconds. He climbs where he can climb and crawls under and through things when he needs to. He gets where he wants to go and does not stop. If the gate on the stairs is open, he is up the stairs, if the toilet seat is up, he is in the toilet. He really is non stop and I feel like that is putting it lightly.

Isn't this how every 15 month old eats their snack?

He has about 10 words. For months he has been walking around saying, "What's That?". He also says "Ball", "Mama", "Drink", "Bye Bye", "Night Night", "Outside", "Shoe" and he is all about "Dada". As soon as he wakes up, he asks for "Dada". As soon as he sees Mikey he says "Dada, outside". If he is inside and Daddie is outside, he is glued to the window, saying "Dada". He LOVES to go outside. As soon as a door opens, he is running towards it saying "outside". When he gets to go outside he gets so excited and giddy like he just won the lottery, but when it is time to come back inside he is not happy at all.

He is really catching on quickly on communicating what he wants. I am not sure if this is normal at this age, or if it is just being the 3rd kid and he has to fen for himself. If he is thirsty, he goes and gets a cup from the drawer and brings it to me. If he is hungry, he goes to the pantry and gets a snack and brings it to me. He wants to eat with a spoon at the table like his sisters. If you put him in a high chair it is pure meltdown. He wants to be at the table like everyone else. He is discovering tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. Those are fun.

He is in 12-18 month clothes, size 4 diaper and size 5 shoe. He had his 15 month checkup and he is 24 pounds, 5 ounces (71%), 32.25 inches long (84%) and his head is 19 inches (86%). He is eating 3 meals a day with snacks in between. He will pretty much eat anything but he does this thing when I put all of the food the table, he brushes it all off onto the floor. We have begun "discipling" him for this. Everytime we tell him "No" in a firm voice he cries and he makes the cutest little face. It is so hard to keep a straight face. He drinks whole milk with every meal and water throughout the day. All from sippy cups. He has 8 teeth. 4 on top, 2 on the bottom and 2 molars. Doctor said he will probably get another 2 molars before his other two bottom teeth come in. He is sleeping from 730pm until about 8am and is still taking 2 naps each day for about an hour and a half each. I can tell he is starting to transition to 1 nap. He goes right down for his morning nap, but plays in his crib for quite a while in the afternoon. That transition will probably take place this summer!

We haven't started working on body parts yet (poor 3rd kid), but he knows that his shoes go on his feet and when he has a comb or brush he brushes his hair. He even tried to put Presley's panties on last night. Like I said before, I feel like he is really figuring things out very quickly, or it just goes by really fast with the 3rd child.

My how Bentley is different from the girls. He is ALL BOY, stinky feet and all! He is all about balls, outside, and getting down and dirty. Mikey caught him eating a worm the other day without even flinching. We are so blessed to have him in our life and we wouldn't have it any other way. Boys are easier as teenagers, right?!?!?
