Coeur D'Alene

Mikey and I recently took a trip to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. We stayed at a resort on the lake and it was gorgeous. It was a long way to travel, but once we got there it was so relaxing. We didn't have an agenda and were able to relax and enjoy each other's company. The room was so nice. The bed was elevated and then there was a step down sitting area, so we could enjoy the view.

There was a fireplace in the sitting area too.

This was our view of the sunset at dinner the first night. It was breathtaking.

Dinner with friends!

The view from our room.

Mikey took this picture from a bridge on the boardwalk.

The hotel from the boardwalk.

We walked down main street to have some lunch and of course Mikey needed to climb on the moose.

After lunch, we went back to the room for a mid afternoon nap and then went for a hike.

We came across this little beach on our hike.

Looking back at our hotel.

We ran into a couple we knew on the hike so Mikey took a picture for them. Thought it was a cool picture. It doesn't look like it, but we were up pretty high on a rock.

On Friday night, we had a date night at a Japanese place so for course we had to have a sake bomb. I took a little longer to fnish mine than Mikey did.

On Saturday morning, Mikey went golfing.

The golf course is famous for the floating green.

I did some shopping and had lunch with some of the girls and then I came back to the room for a glass of wine by the fire and enjoyed the view.

There were a lot of Aggies on the trip so we all gathered in the lobby bar to watch the game.

On Sunday morning, we got a couples' massage and it was so relaxing. It was very sunny on Sunday and the water sparkled. It was so pretty.

On Sunday evening we had our Farewell dinner at the golf course with the floating green. We took a boat over to the dinner at sunset.

Getting on the airplane to go back home.

A beautiful sunset to end an amazing trip.

Thanks so much to Grammy, Grampy, Marmee and Guy for taking care of the kids while we were away. It was a very relaxing and much needed trip for us. We love you!
