Presley Update!

Now that I haven't been doing monthly updates on Presley, I feel like I am losing track of her development. Presley is 20 and a half months old. She is growing and developing each and every day! We are working on her speech a lot. She is doing a lot of repeating and also putting two to four words together. It is so much fun to be able to communicate back and forth with her. She gets just as excited as we do! I promise this is not where she is learning her language from! She likes to talk a lot about where everyone is and what they are doing. "Kiley sleeping?", "Kiley bye bye in bus?", "Daddie sleeping?", "Buddy sleeping?", "Buddy outside?", "Daddie Bye Bye in Truck?", "Mommy keys". Last week, we went over to a neighbor's house for a playdate and Presley discovered the jewelry. She is such a girly girl which is so unlike me. She loves purses, jewelry, and babies. The more the better! Our playdate was actually supposed to be a swim playdate, but we had some bad storms. Here is a couple of pictures of the hail we got. Presley actually ate the "ice". Now that the girls are getting a little older, they are starting to play together more. I let them play upstairs by themselves after their naps while they are having their snacks. I went up to check on them the other day and Presley had crawled up into the swing and Kiley was pushing her. So funny. Mikey has been taking Kiley golfing on Thursday evenings, so I enrolled Presley in gymnastics. It is so perfect for her because it lets her climb and run and jump and flip all in a safe environment. Speaking of climbing, Presley climbs up on our bathtub and stands at my sink while I get ready. This is one afternoon before gymnastics. I will try to get some pictures and video of her at gymnastics very soon. She is really having fun with it! I haven't been able to get it on video, but there have been a couple of occasions where Presley had dessert, so when we put her down for bed she was a little wired. She does somersalts in her bed and then stands up and claps for herself. It is so funny! Presley is growing so fast. We noticed the other day that she is starting to lose some of her baby fat and turning into a little girl. Don't worry, she still has the thunder thighs! We can't believe she will be two in less than 4 months. She is such a cool kid. She does something new and different every day and always puts a smile on our face!
