Fun Family Weekend

We had a great weekend. On Friday night, I cooked stuffed shells with a vodka sauce and it was delicious. I also made salad and breadsticks. After dinner, we went for a family outing to get some ice cream. We let Kiley watch her Baby Einstein movie in the car and she loved it!

On Saturday, we had two birthday parties. Kiley's friend, Kai (Jae and John's daughter), turned one on the 25th. We had so much fun at her birthday party. We took a quick picture with the birthday girl before she opened presents. Neither of the girls even realized we were taking a picture. There was a lot going on around them.

Kiley spent a lot of time outside on the swing. She loved it!

She loved the wind blowing in her hair.
Daddie pushed her a little too high for Mommy, but Kiley loved it. She is looking at Daddie asking him to push her again.

The higher the better.

She looked so cute in her little pig tails.

On Saturday night, we met some friends at dinner to celebrate Ben's birthday. We didn't do a very good job taking pictures but we had a good time. The place wasn't really Kiley friendly, so we brought her booster seat and she was such a good girl! We were all in bed by 9pm. We had a busy day! Happy Birthday Ben & Kai!

On Sunday, we went to church at 11am instead of 915am. We have dropped Kiley's morning nap, so our church times are a little more flexible now. After her nap, we went to Grammy and Grampy's for dinner. We watched basketball and Grammy made meatloaf and mashed potatoes. It was delicious! We had a great family weekend. Sundays are always sad because Daddie has to go back to work on Monday. We will just look forward to next weekend!
