Our Beach Trip!

We took Kiley to the beach for the first time last week to visit Mikey's parents. We spent 7 whole days and it was so relaxing. Here is a picture of Kiley in her stroller at the airport waiting to board. Our flight was only 2.5 hours and straight through.

New Year's Eve was in the 80's! The guys went golfing and the girls took Kiley down to the beach.

She wasn't too sure about the sand under her feet.

I tried putting her feet in the water, but she didn't like it. The temperature was 77, so still a little cold for her.

Mikey and Mike grilled steaks and I made twice baked potatoes for dinner. It was so delicious. We watched fireworks on the beach from the balcony and then counted down to the new year! Happy New Year!!

We went to 4pm Mass on Saturday. It was a special Mass to celebrate Mikey's Great Aunt Ann who recently passed away. It was nice for all of us to be there.

Kiley got to meet Father Dalton (who married us) after Mass.

4pm Mass cut into Kiley's naptime. She was a perfect angel during Mass, but once we tried to take pictures of her by the nativity scene, she was not happy.

I tried to sit down with her.

After we got back from church, we took a family picture on the beach. The sun was already behind the buildings, but the beach still looks pretty.

On Sunday night, Connie had a cocktail party for some of her friends to come meet Kiley.

Monday was our anniversary of when we started dating. We celebrated with a Couple's massage. It was very relaxing. Here is a picture of the sunrise on our last day. We flew home Tuesday night.

We were so sad to leave. Thanks to Grammy and Grampy for all of the wonderful meals and hospitality. We had so much fun and it is so beautiful. Now we are back to the cold weather.
