Valentine's 2020

This year, it was just the girls and me on Valentines. The boys went Snowboarding in Aspen which will be it's own post. I put together some small teacher gifts and each kid had their own Valentine's this year.

Even though Bentley was gone, as Room Mom, I still had to run his class party. I didn't take any pictures since he was gone and unfortunately barely got to Presley's party since Mikey was gone. I did take a picture of these cute fruit skewers we did.

When the girls got home, they sorted all of their Valentine's.

Presley had a "Valentine" this year in her class. He brought her this beautiful rose and gummy bears. Luckily Daddie was out of town!

Since Bentley got to go snowboarding, I got the girls a little something to celebrate.

Kiley took her new chair around everywhere...

The girls and I went to a "Gal"entine's Party. We played Left, Right, Center and Presley won money!

To celebrate, I took the girls to lunch at 54th Street.

And then we got Chick Fil A for dinner!

We missed the boys, but made the most of our girl time!

Bentley's 7 Year Birthday!

Since each year seems to be hit or miss on whether he is sick or not, we decided to have an after school birthday party with his friends again this year. This year was A LOT colder, but the kids still had a great time!

On his actual birthday, Mikey went to eat lunch with him at school. He got to eat with his friend, Mason.

He opened a couple of gifts from us.

Then we had the family celebration. Marmee and Guy got him a Pogo Stick...and some clothes...

I made tacos for dinner and he asked for oreo ice cream cake for dessert. His friend, Jett, that lives next door came over for cake.

I took him for his 7 year checkup and he weighs 51.4 pounds(52.8%) and is 4 feet 5 inches tall(60.3%).

Northwestern Mutual Awards Banquet

We were invited to the 2020 awards banquet. It was at The Perot Museum downtown. Presley's godparents recently bought a condo in a high rise downtown. We hadn't seen it yet, so we went by for a drink before the banquet. Their view is spectacular!

We had a great time at the banquet. It is always good to see friends, have a nice meal and do a little bit of dancing!
