In addition to taking the girls to birthday parties, I have also been busy hosting showers! One of my sweet friends and neighbors is expecting a baby boy. They have two girls that my girls love to play with and hopefully our boys will have fun together too! Myself and two other of our neighbor friends hosted a baby shower for Amy at a local restaurant. A couple pictures of the table.
Poor Amy was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, so we had to get her some sugar free cupcakes. They weren't near as good or near as pretty.
This is a closeup picture of the favors.
The whole gang!
The next shower, my girlfriends and I hosted a Couple's Shower for our dear friend Courtney and her fiance Kevin. This was the entry table and favors.
These are all of the props for the photo booth.
The mantle decor.
We had an italian dinner catered and it was delicious!
We tried these mini cupcakes for dessert and they were a hit. There were a lot of different flavors to choose from, so we had the couple pick 4 of their favorites!
The hostesses with the couple!
Courtney got us all bracelets for our hostess gift.
We had to get a closeup of the bracelets with her bling!
This is the conclusion of me hosting 5 showers in 5 months. My Mom, Sister and I hosted a baby shower for my Mom's best friend's, daughter, Kallie. They live in California, but have a lot of family here so we hosted for all of her Dallas family! The entry table.
The sign in sheet.
The banner. Yes, I know, the colors of the banner do not match the entry table. When we first started planning the shower and sent out invitations, Kallie had been told 3 times that she was having a girl. Less than two weeks before the shower, she was told she was having a boy. It sure sent her for a loop, but it did for our planning too! We tried to make the banner a little more boyish.
The food table.
The tables. Everyone had a place to sit down together for lunch.
More flowers.
We got the cupcakes from Dimples which is my favorite place. They were a hit!
It was so much fun hosting a shower with my Mom and my sister!

Birthday Parties!
I apologize for being so behind on blogging! We have been so busy every weekend with parties, showers and events! I am going to play catchup on my blog this week!!
The girls have been attending some super fun birthday parties! We celebrated our friend, Charlotte's birthday at a ballerina party!
I had to learn real quick how to do a bun!
Her hair is so fine and thin, so it was hard to make, but it only took me two tries!
The girls all picked out ballerina costumes to wear. A cute picture of them sitting with their friends, Caris, Caitlyn, Summer and Felicity!
They are all waiting patiently to get their makeup done.
Presley getting her makeup done.
All of the ballerinas!
They all took a ballet class and danced around on stage and then changed out of their ballerina dresses so they could have cake! Thank you Charlotte for inviting us to come celebrate with you. The party was absolutely adorable!
Another fun birthday party that the girls went to recently was a Frozen themed swim party to celebrate Isabella's birthday!
The kids all swam for about an hour.
And then they all got dressed for pizza and cake. The girls are so into the movie Frozen and were looking forward the party. The party place played Let It Go over the speakers and all of the girls sang the entire song. It was the cutest thing! Happy Birthday Isabella and thank you for inviting us to celebrate with you!!

Our 7 Year Anniversary!!
We recently celebrated our 7 Year Anniversary! This was a picture we took before Mikey's awards banquet!
Our actual anniversary is on St. Patrick's Day. Since it was on a Monday this year and we weren't in Florida, we decided to just stay in and celebrate with the kids. We played outside.
We ordered dinner in, so that I didn't have to cook! After dinner, we got the kids ready for bed while Daddie played the guitar!
After everyone was ready for bed, we put Bentley down and then we let the girls stay up and watch our wedding video with us. They loved it!
We recently hosted a big Couples' Shower at our house and my parents agreed to take the kids for the night. Since we didn't celebrate much on our actual anniversary, my parents said they would take the kids for the whole weekend so we could celebrate around the shower! Mikey and I were so excited!! We felt like we were going on vacation! We took the kids down to Mom's work on Friday. On the way back up, we stopped and saw a movie and then went to dinner. We spent most of the day on Saturday getting ready for the shower and then hosted on Saturday night. All still kid free which made it stress free!! On Sunday, we spent the day at the Country Club!! We started out with some tennis.
Then we had a quiet lunch!
And then I rode along with Mikey while he played some golf!
It was such a fun and relaxing weekend. Thank you so much to Marmee and Guy for taking care of our kiddos for the whole weekend! It was the best gift ever!! The kids had a blast at the ranch and Mommy and Daddie enjoyed our time together. Happy Anniversary honey!!
