Halloween 2013

We had a great Halloween and plenty of opportunities to dress up and celebrate! We went to the Especially Needed Fall Carnival again this year. The kids loved their light up toys. I had them carry them while trick or treating and it was so easy to see them in the dark!

Daddie took the girls on a train ride!

Bentley stayed back and had some dinner.

Waving!

It was a cute little train.

Kiley always loves the petting zoo!

Presley had a Halloween party at school. She got to dress up and they did some fun crafts.

Her friend, Payton, had the same costume!

They made some fun snacks too!

One of the Mom's read them a Halloween story.

These were a couple of other attempts to get a picture of the kids dressed up.

We took a picture with our friends, Adlee and Braelyn too!

After pictures, we went down the street for a block party. I tried getting closeup pictures of the kids.

My sweet pumpkin.

The crawling spider!

A Pretty Princess!

The neighborhood kids. I promise Presley is in this picture. She is just hidden. It is the biggest mystery.

The day after Halloween, Kiley had a story book parade at school, so she got to dress up like Pricess Sofia.

On Saturday we had a Fall Carnival in our neighborhood. Presley is playing pumpkin bowling.

Bentley in the wagon while sisters played in the bounce house.

BB got to swing.

And we all went on the hayride!

Catch Up Post!

Time for another "catch all" post of what we have been up to the last few weeks.

Sweet sisters. Presley fed Kiley lunch one day.

Presley got all of the plastic dishes out and lined them up along the whole table. She is so my daughter.

I found this thing where I can chop and steam all in one container to make food for Bentley. Very handy!

I cannot get enough of him in these cute jeans!!

This is an outfit that Marmee got Presley for her birthday, so we sent Marmee a picture.

Bentley had a play date with his new friend, Ryan. They are a month apart and were so cute together. Full of smiles!

They are both standing up and cruising.

Bentley in his Sunday football outfit.

We have been enjoying watching TV outside by the fire at night after the kids go to bed. The weather has been so nice.

I was trying to schedule our next book club so I looked ahead to December and apparently Presley had something going on that day....

Aunt Katie, my friend Jenny and her girls joined me and the kids to run a race to raise money for childhood cancer. We had fun with it and dressed up nice and bright.

Jenny and I ran with our double strollers and finished in 33 minutes! We are crossing the finish line!

After the race, we went to Jacob's birthday party! It was a Mickey Mouse theme. So cute and delicious food!

A picture of the little babies!

Another picture of a Marmee outfit!

Kiley's teacher posted this picture of her. She was posing with the hat. So cute!

Presley was styling Bentley's hair one day.

One night, Presley put Mikey's hat on and we taught her how to say "What's Up".

She was being so silly.

Presley is now swimming with goggles at swim lessons. She looks so cute in them.

Sorry for all of the random pictures in one post, but I had some catching up to do!

Coeur D'Alene

Mikey and I recently took a trip to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. We stayed at a resort on the lake and it was gorgeous. It was a long way to travel, but once we got there it was so relaxing. We didn't have an agenda and were able to relax and enjoy each other's company. The room was so nice. The bed was elevated and then there was a step down sitting area, so we could enjoy the view.

There was a fireplace in the sitting area too.

This was our view of the sunset at dinner the first night. It was breathtaking.

Dinner with friends!

The view from our room.

Mikey took this picture from a bridge on the boardwalk.

The hotel from the boardwalk.

We walked down main street to have some lunch and of course Mikey needed to climb on the moose.

After lunch, we went back to the room for a mid afternoon nap and then went for a hike.

We came across this little beach on our hike.

Looking back at our hotel.

We ran into a couple we knew on the hike so Mikey took a picture for them. Thought it was a cool picture. It doesn't look like it, but we were up pretty high on a rock.

On Friday night, we had a date night at a Japanese place so for course we had to have a sake bomb. I took a little longer to fnish mine than Mikey did.

On Saturday morning, Mikey went golfing.

The golf course is famous for the floating green.

I did some shopping and had lunch with some of the girls and then I came back to the room for a glass of wine by the fire and enjoyed the view.

There were a lot of Aggies on the trip so we all gathered in the lobby bar to watch the game.

On Sunday morning, we got a couples' massage and it was so relaxing. It was very sunny on Sunday and the water sparkled. It was so pretty.

On Sunday evening we had our Farewell dinner at the golf course with the floating green. We took a boat over to the dinner at sunset.

Getting on the airplane to go back home.

A beautiful sunset to end an amazing trip.

Thanks so much to Grammy, Grampy, Marmee and Guy for taking care of the kids while we were away. It was a very relaxing and much needed trip for us. We love you!
