Bentley has been very into money lately, so I had an idea. We told him that we would give him a $100 bill if he didn't have a party this year. He agreed. Score!! This meant less stress and less money for us!!
We did say that he could invite some friends to the park after school on is actual birthday for some fun games and ice cream. Easy!
Well...poor thing ended up with the Flu on his actual birthday. It broke my heart. He missed being recognized on the morning announcements and we had to cancel his little party. The only thing he kept saying was..."I'm still six, right Mom?" Sweet boy. He was out of school for 4 days!
Once he felt better we went to dinner to celebrate. He chose Chili's.

Once Bentley was better and the weather was good, we were able to reschedule his party. Mikey got some fun blow up toys and made a bunch of water balloons and I brought ice cream for everyone. The kids had a blast. Bentley invited a few of his friends, including two girls...They had a lot of fun.
