The Statler

For Christmas, Mom gave Mycah and me a girls weekend at the Statler Hotel downtown. The hotel was so nice and decorated very cool. It is a historic hotel that was recently renovated. There were 5 restaurants, a rooftop pool and even a Bourbon Bar!

We had a nice dinner at one of the restaurants.

After dinner, we went to check out the Bourbon Bar. It was so cool. You had to walk down some stairs and then there was a phone booth. You entered in a code on the phone and the door opened. The Bourbon Bar was actually the old Barber Shop. All of the Bourbons were named after hair styles.

On Saturday morning, I worked out and then we went up to the rooftop pool. Not a bad view.

After our pool time we hung out in the room and then walked over and got some pizza for dinner. We loved just hanging in our room and having girl time. Thanks so much Mom for a much needed girls weekend. I can't wait for the next one.

At home, Daddie Day Care seemed pretty similar...Nice Steak Dinner...

I guess Daddie did put them to work to get the house cleaned up before Mommy got home!
