Mikey attended Dogs with Dads this year with Bentley.
He kept up the tradition that he started with Presley to stop and get custard on the way home.
Bentley had western day at school. He didn't have any boots so he borrowed Presley's.
This is Bentley's friend Brody. They have the exact same birthday and will go to Kindergarten together after one more year at Sonshine Academy.
Bentley got to bring his umbrella to school one day.
We still eat lunch with Presley and her friend Ollie every Wednesday. Bentley took this picture with my phone.
Bentley painting an umbrella.
A teacher comment one day after school.
Kiley got an award in her Friday morning assembly.
Bentley picked a flower for me during recess. It obviously didn't make it home.
Everyone in Bentley's class measured how tall they are with string.
And they tried to grow a sweet potato.
Bentley loves the playground at school.
One morning, Bentley refused to get out of the truck in car line. I had to park and literally drag him into class. He had never done this. I kept in touch with his teacher all morning. She said he was quiet for about an hour and then they started playing with mud and he perked up.
Presley's school hosted their first ever community fun run. We ran two miles and then they had food trucks, snow cones and a DJ. It was really fun.
Presley received an Optimism award at school and we were very proud!
Another comment from Bentley's teacher.
Presley was asked to help with the upcoming Kindergartner's tour and she was all over it. She put on her heels and skinny jeans. She led the group of upcoming kindergartners all around the school. She told me she was in charge and I just walked in the back of the group making sure we didn't lose any kids. In this picture they are in music. She came up to me and said "I can't believe I am in music with these little kids". It was so cute. It was nice to hear some of the sweet things the teachers had to say about Presley.
Our friend Sadie from down the street is starting in the Fall and she is so excited!
Kiley recently had a field trip at our heritage museum. It was so neat to learn about the history of our town. The kids got to sit in an old school house and learn how the kids went to school a long time ago.
This little girl held Kiley's hand the whole time. It was so sweet to watch.
After the field trip, I stopped and picked up lunch for Kiley and took it to her. They got to eat in the classroom because they came back after lunch time. There was another little sweet girl that she sat with.
Finally, I was going through Presley's back pack one day after school and I pulled this "artwork" out. What are they learning at school? A poop emoji? I asked her about it and she said a friend in class drew it. We got a good laugh out of it.
