...and this is a good thing. I always dread Summer because it is a lot to have all 3 kids home all day every day with out school to break things up. This year we have been blessed in many ways. Kiley qualified for ESY (extended school year). Even though it is only 6 weeks, 3 days per week and 3 hours per day, it is just enough to give Kiley the structure that she needs. We also enrolled Presley in some camps, and finally, we have 3 trips (one each month) to look forward to! Well, here we are, almost in August. Yay!! Here is a little of what we have been up to.
We met my Mom's best friend and her daughter Joy for lunch. The kids loved playing with Joy's daughter, Zoe.
Look at the cute little baby in the stroller.
Mikey took Bentley to Best Buy with him one day. After they came home, Bentley would not stop talking about the Star Wars toy he saw. He was a good boy so Mikey took him back to get it.
I took Presley shopping with me one day and she was quite the fashionista!
Mikey golfed one Friday afternoon and I got brave and took the kids to see Finding Dory! They did so good!
One week that Kiley was in school and Presley was in camp, B was my little shopping Buddy.
Mikey and I went to a Couples' Dinner with 5 of the guys he works with and their wives. We try to do it every few months!
I took the kids to our Friends', Jesse and London's, birthday party. It was a Ninja Turtle party at Urban Air. Bentley loved it!!
This is the only way Kiley has taken a nap this Summer...on Mommy.
Kiley stayed the weekend with Marmee and Guy and Daddie built Presley and Bentley a super cool fort!
And Grammy and Grampy took them to a place where they road a train and saw a bunch of cool animals.
Our neighborhood had a big 4th of July celebration!
Daddie took Presley to get ice cream. It got a little messy.
Daddie got a new top for the jeep for Father's Day. After he put it on, he took a picture of his toys.
My sister's childhood friend, Lindsey got married. She was a beautiful bride and and we had a blast at the wedding!
Mycah was in the wedding and she walked down the aisle with a professional football player. There was a little bit of a height difference!
The girls!
The kids stayed the night with Grammy and Grampy while we were at the wedding.
The next day, Mikey and I went to see our friend, Ashley in a musical she was in.
Ashley is in black in the back. Also, Kiley's dance teacher was in the production too. She is in the second row in blue, second from the right.
Ashley played Mrs. Potiphar. She did so great!!
We got Presley's dance recital DVD in the mail and it inspired her to put on a dance recital for me.
She even had costume changes.
Kiley even joined in on the fun!
Presley went to a cheer camp. It is called Cross Cheer and was a Christian based cheer camp. She had a crazy socks day.
She also had a crazy hair day and she asked for 13 ponytails.
Presley and her friend, Caitlin.
The last day of camp, they did a performance for all of the parents.
Bentley was my running buddy one day!
Our friends, the Luce's, brought over some boy toys that their boys had grown out of. Bentley was super excited!
