Our sweet friend Nikki flew in on Thursday night to spend the weekend with us. On Friday morning we all went to the gym as a family and then to Bentley's swim lesson. Mikey and Nikki were supposed to golf but it rained most of the day so they went to Top Golf instead. When they got there, there was a long wait so they went next door to a bar that our friend owns. They had a couple of drinks and then ended up on our friend's yacht!!
On Friday evening, Mikey started the brisket!
On Saturday morning, Bentley got the pool ready.
We swam most of the day on Saturday and then Mikey's parents came over in the afternoon to watch the kids so that we could go tailgate at the Jimmy Buffet concert. We saw some people that we knew and met some interesting people too! We had an absolute blast!

On Sunday, the Bairds came over to swim and eat brisket! We made sangria for the day!
Bentley learned to jump off of the grotto by himself. One time he had to stop and take a bathroom break. Thanks for not peeing in the pool B!
The weather turned out to be beautiful!

After dinner, we literally had 5 minutes to make s'mores before a big rainstorm came. I didn't get pictures of us making them, but I did get a picture of what was left. They were delicious!
After Presley bit into her s'more, she realized her second tooth fell out. We never found it so we think she may have swallowed it.
Aunt Nikki helped her write a letter to the tooth fairy explaining what happened.
On Monday morning before Nikki left she gave the kids some crafts to do. Presley loved the bracelets and the headbands!
We had an awesome weekend with Aunt Nikki and we can't wait to see her in Missouri in August! It was a great weekend to celebrate...The Land of the Free because of The Brave.

Ok, loved this blog! I laughed out loud several times at Bentley :) And I'm so jealous of your Jimmy Buffet tailgate. We have been the past several years but we were out of town this year so we missed it. Glad y'all had a fun holiday weekend! Hopefully we will see you outside again if it ever stops raining :(
