We spent an amazing Spring Break in Naples, Florida. This is the first year that Mikey's parents have lived on the Gulf side and we are in love!! The sand and water are amazing! As soon as we arrived, Grampy and Daddie took the girls down to the beach. Kiley has been to the beach and did ok with it, but she was pretty young and Presley went to St. Thomas when she was 4 weeks old, so she was very young! This is the first time they can both walk!

When the girls went down for their nap, Mikey and I went out for some quiet time to kick off our vacation!

After Presley woke up, we brought her down for a walk on the beach.

And then we got the shy face...

I have no idea what we are doing here, but we are both doing the same thing.

The next morning the sun was out, so Mikey and I went kayaking. We did this a couple of different times and it was a blast. We got within a couple of feet of dolphins a few times. It was amazing...and good exercise!

When we got back, we took the girls (and their capri suns) down to the pool.

Miss Pres.

Kiley wasn't too fond of the sand, so I stayed by the pool with her and Daddie took Presley down to the beach, this time with her bathing suit on!

This was the beginning of the end. She is totally a beach girl.

She loved everything about this entire experience. She loved the bathing suits, loved putting on sunscreen, loved the sand, the water, the waves, everything!!

The birds...

The footprints...

The wet sand...

And Kiley liked the piggy back rides :-).

We couldn't get Kiley to step foot in the sand and we couldn't keep Presley out!

Beach family picture!

Every night we watched the sunset, or the "circle" as Kiley called it.

This is one of many sunset pictures...one of my favorites!

Love the palm trees!

Day 3, Presley is staying hydrated!

Mommy and Presley waiting for another pretty sunset!

And we weren't disappointed!

Almost gone...

Presley sipping on something fruity by the pool.

Daddie and Presley playing in the sand.

Kiley in her chair...out of the sand, supervising :-).

Presley loved finding shells.

Daddie and Presley brought the water to Kiley!

We finally got Kiley down by the water, so Daddie and Presley tried to build a wall to protect us from the water.

She has a shovel in hand...baby steps!

Presley, busy building!

Beach Babes

Grampy made Mickey Mouse in the sand. He knows the way to Kiley's heart.

Later that day, we took a ride on a boat to a small island to gather sea shells for Kiley's friends and teachers at school. They love the boat!

And Kiley looking from afar on Daddie's shoulders.

The whole family!

While Mikey and I were celebrating our anniversary (future post), Grammy and Grampy took the girls to the zoo.
Kiley had the best time. Grammy said her favorites were the monkeys and the giraffes. Pres thought it was ok. I think she would rather have been on the beach ;-).
One day while the guys were golfing, Grammy and I took the girls out to lunch. We took them in the strollers.

Kiley sitting back with her legs crossed waiting for a table.

Sunset time!

We saw so many and no two sunsets are alike. Breathtaking.

Presley hydrating before another sunset.

There was rain and clouds around this one and it was still so pretty.

Presley ready for another swim!

While we were there, the girls got invited to a birthday party. Kiley was checking our her outfit.

And so was Presley.

Pretty girls!

We maximized our last day on the beach and spent most of the day there! Kiley in her chair under the umbrella, happy as can be!

Look at that teeny weeny bikini!

Playing on the kayaks.

Me and My Girls...impossible to get them both to look at the camera.

This was the most Kiley's feet touched the sand the whole time we were there!

Sisters.

Love this picture!

Watching Daddie kayak.

Daddie took Kiley in the ocean and she did great. This picture would be a lot more amazing if we had one of those cool high tech cameras. What you can't see, is that there is a dolphin just a few feet from them. I could not get them, and the dolphin when the dolphin came up all with our slow camera.

Mommy and Presley's last dip in the ocean.

We had such an amazing trip. Many thanks to Grammy and Grampy for putting up with our chaos for 10 whole days. We had such an amazing time. All of Grammy's cooking was delicious and our accommodations were 5 star! We love you Grammy and Grampy and we can't wait until you come back home!
