Halloween 2011

On Saturday night, we took the girls to a Fall Festival up in McKinney. It was hosted by an organization called Especially Needy and it was for children with special needs and their family. We had so much fun! When we got there, we gave them our tickets and then we got in line to get a tshirt. After we got our tshirts, we got in another line for tickets. Each child got 3 tickets for food and drinks. We got in line for food and the 4 of us shared a hot dog, nachos, and popcorn.

The festival was at a baseball field. After we got our food, we looked for a place to have a picnic. The girls and I enjoying our picnic dinner!

After dinner we went over to the petting zoo. The girls loved the animals.

Daddie went in to feed the animals and get them to come over by the girls. Presley kept pointing to the goat and saying dog. Close enough.

Kiley was sooooo excited!

There was a trick or treating stations, lots of games and bounce houses. The girls really weren't into that stuff. They just wanted to push the wagon around.

Silly girls!

Kiley literally had a smile on her face the entire time we were there. She loves being around other kids. She loves watching them. That in combination with the animals and the costumes and new surroundings, she had so much fun.

Presley loved running around and playing.

We stayed as long as we could and still were able to get home at a decent hour for bedtime. They were so happy, they started hugging each other in the wagon. It was so cute.

We were so glad we had the opportunity to go on Saturday. It was so rewarding for Mikey and I to see our girls so happy and have so much fun!

On Halloween night, we decided to go ahead and take the girls to a couple of houses to trick or treat. They had their baskets ready to go!

We just went up one street. They didn't quite understand what was going on, but it was so much fun to see the reaction of the people that answered the door. The girls looked adorable in their costumes. Kiley just wanted to hold the candy.

And of course Presley wanted to eat it all....

We had a great Halloween. The older the girls get and can understand, the more fun it will be!
