It is "Snow" Cold Here!

We have had a crazy winter blast over the last week here in Dallas. It has made national news because of the super bowl, but it is still way out of the ordinary. Last week, schools and businesses were closed 4 days in a row. That has never happened as long as I can remember. We are having another round of winter weather and everything is closed again today! Snow days always make for fun pictures, so here you go!
We had to get an updated Baird Family Onesie Photo with Presley!

She wasn't quite sure where the camera was =).

Mikey took some pictures first thing in the morning. We couldn't get over how much snow was on the floating chlorine holder in the middle of the pool.

Another picture in the daylight.

Of course Mikey had to go explore. It looks like he got first tracks!

Awww, the jeep.

The snow continued to fall throughout the day.

Mikey and Michael went sledding. I think Mikey was a little excited!

They built a ramp to jump and get air. Go Michael!

When the girls went down for their nap, I went outside to check it out. I made some snow art =).

I made this for my husband to try to get him to come home and play with us.

I took Kiley out when she woke up. She didn't really like the cold. She got some snow in between her glove and coat and that was the end of it.

Daddie finally came home to play with us! We bundled the girls up...
...and took them for a walk in the wagon.

Precious Presley!

Kiley girl!

They had fun riding, but not so much playing in the snow. It was snow cold out, so we didn't want to keep them out too long. We had a fire burning all day. It was fun for the first day or so, especially having Daddie home, but then cabin fever set in. We were stuck in the house for 4 days straight! Presley's baptism was scheduled for Sunday and I hadn't run any errands all week! The good news was that I was able to get all of the housework done...I kind of had no choice. Mom was supposed to come home from New York on Tuesday and got snowed in. She finally made it home on Friday! Thank Goodness! Mikey and I spent the entire day on Saturday running errands to get ready for Presley's special day! Stay tuned and stay warm!
