Presley is Four Months!

On Saturday, Presley turned four months old! Man how time flies! She is getting so big and so smart! She now plays in her Baby Einstein bouncer and can sit in her bumbo! She rolled over for the first time on the 11th from her front to back, twice! She scoots around in circles when she plays on her back. She is working on sitting up. When we have her propped up, she sits up by herself but then falls forward. We still have her in size 1 diapers because we got sooo many at her pampers party! She is such a happy baby. She has the BIGGEST smiles and she laughs when we tickle her. She eats every three hours. She grew out of her bassinet, so we had to transfer her to her pack n play. She is still getting used to it....that is code for not sleeping through the night.

She plays with her Sophie the Giraffe toy. She holds it by herself and chews on it. She also loves some of her little sassy chew toys. Kiley thinks they are all hers, so whenever Presley is in reaching distance, Kiley takes her toy. Presley is so laid back, she just gives it to sister. I have noticed that Presley loves blankets. She holds them close to her and chews on them. It is the sweetest thing! I think she is going to have a "blankie".

I took Presley to her 4 month checkup yesterday and it went well. She weighs 13 pounds, 4 1/2 ounces (50%). She is 24 1/2 inches long (50%), and her head is 16 8/16 inches around (75%). The doctor said she must have a big brain ;-).

Everything checked out perfectly. Dr. Nale heard some congestion in her. She got another cold from sister. I am PRAYING that it isn't the RSV that is going around. She got the same vaccines as she did at 2 months. She seemed to be in more pain this time and was running a fever last night. I am not sure if the fever is from the cold, the RSV or just the vaccines...so much to worry about. Despite her discomfort, she still has a smile.

She is our precious little (or big) Presley. She seems so big to us because Kiley was so small. I just checked Kiley's 4 month blog and Kiley was 10 pounds at 4 months. 3 pounds is a big difference at this age =). We will probably start solids some time between now and 6 months. I am not in too much of a hurry because nursing has been so easy. We will blog about it when we do try! We can't wait to see how much she develops in the next two months!
