Happy New Year!

We stayed in New Year's Eve this year to celebrate with our girls. Marmee and Guy came up to stay the night with us! We had a delicious steak and crab dinner! A picture of the table before dinner.

We counted down the new year and went to bed around 1am. It was a fun low key night! On New Year's Day, Kiley disappeared and got really quiet, so I knew she was into something. We got a new safe for Christmas. In our defense, the safe was closed and the handle was secure, but we haven't actually applied the security code to it. I had put our Christmas money in a box on a shelf in the safe until I could deposit it. Apparently it isn't Kiley proof.

We got a big laugh out of it.

The Bairds came over. Mom cooked a delicious New Year's Day dinner. We had pork roast and sourkraut, mashed potatoes, squash, corn casserole and black eyed peas. All the essentials for a great 2011. Happy New Year!
