St. Thomas

"How old is she?"...."One Month Old."....."Wow, you are brave!" I can't tell you how many times I had that conversation over the last 5 days! We successfully took a one month old to St Thomas for 5 days, and it was amazing. It was definitely a different vacation with added responsibility, but I am so glad we went! Presley was an amazing traveler and such a trooper the entire trip. We prayed about it a lot and God answered our prayers! We stayed at the Ritz Carlton on St. Thomas and it was absolutely amazing. The view from our room.

We left early Thursday Morning. Mommy and Presley arriving in St. Thomas.

A Tropical Tours bus picked us up. We got to experience the open air the whole way to the hotel.

Leaving the airport.

Another picture from our drive.

This was our first time to stay at a Ritz Carlton. Some pictures of our room....

Presley's Crib

With the crib, the hotel brought us shampoo and lotion for Presley, plug protectors, a bath tub protector and a night light. Now that is service! In college, we studied the Ritz a lot because they are so known for their customer service. They obviously surveyed a lot of parents traveling with kids to find out what they needed to make it easier.

On Friday morning, Mikey had his sales meeting at 8am and I had my wives' breakfast at 9am. Robin was sweet to hold Presley while I ate. She was very comfy in Robin's arms.

After breakfast the wives' always get together for a prayer meeting. We catch up with each other's lives since the last trip and ask each other for prayers. Presley slept the entire time. She was a perfect angel. Look at her little arm.

After talking with the wives' I went back up to the room to feed Presley. We took a picture from our balcony of Daddie paddle boarding. He is the one in the blue shorts.

Presley lounging on the balcony while Mommy took some pictures.

While we were gone, Grammy and Grampy stayed with Kiley on Thursday and Friday, and then Marmee, Guy and Aunt M stayed the weekend with her. Aunt M sent us pictures of Kiley throughout the weekend. We missed her like crazy! She is getting in the Fall spirit.

On Friday night, we all got together in the Cruses' suite to watch the Ranger game. There were about 40 of us! It was a great game until the 8th inning, but we had a blast watching it with a big group. We are on the couch. Presley slept in the mobey wrap the entire game. She was such a good girl. All of the loud cheers and talking were white noise and totally soothing to her.

Kiley cheered for the Rangers in Dallas!

On Saturday morning, I had a massage and it was amazing. It was so relaxing! Mikey took Presley down to the pool.

This picture is of our building from the pool. We were on the 3rd floor in the farthest building to the left.

When I came back from my massage Presley was still sleeping and Daddie was lounging in the pool. It was an infiniti pool and as you can see the view was spectacular.

Posing for the camera.

After Presley woke up, we took her down to the beach to make some sand art to take home. On every trip, we buy a magnet and Christmas ornament to take home. We made both of them out of Presley's feet! They turned out super cute!

The 3 of us down by the ocean.

When Presley fell back to sleep, Katie watched her while Mikey and I went paddle boarding. It was so much fun!

These were all over the island. We are used to seeing them in Florida but it is usually from afar.

They were always hanging out on the path back to our room. I never got used to them. They are not very pretty and they gave me the chills everytime I walked by. Mikey obviously took these pictures.

One day at the pool, one came up to Presley's stroller and just stared at her. It was so scary.

We ate a late lunch by the pool/beach on Saturday. All of the food was wonderful.

Mommy and Presley. Look at that face. She is definitely in paradise and loving it!

After our late lunch, we went back up to the room to rest. We set a goal to actually go out to dinner instead of eating in the room. Mikey took this picture from our balcony. The island to the right is St. John.

Our view at sunset. The sun went down around 6pm and it was dark by 630pm.

By the pool before dinner.

We met Alex and David for dinner at a restaurant at the resort called Great Bay. The food was so good. Mikey had sushi and some kobe steak spring roles and I had sliders. It was all so good.

Presley slept through dinner. She was such a good girl to let us enjoy our dinner! Saturday was definitely our best day. Presley slept a lot and we were able to enjoy the entire day! Thanks P!

Sunday was our last full day in St. Thomas. We hung by the pool most of the day. During one of Presley's naps, Robin watched her and we were able to go paddle boarding again!

We stayed out by the pool a little later since it was our last day. We never got tired of the view!

Kiley cheered the cowboys on, but it wasn't enough no matter how cute she looked. We watched the game in our room while we got ready for dinner. So disappointing.

We had our farewell dinner out on the beach. The weather was so great the entire time we were there. We had one quick rain shower during my massage and the rest of the time was sunny and in the 80's. The temperature was very comfortable at night too! It was such an amazing trip. We are so thankful for Mikey's hard work and the opportunity to experience paradise for 5 days...even with a 1 month old! Good job Daddie!!

We took a group picture of the Dallas Agency before we left the Ritz.
