34 Weeks!

I am 34 weeks along with Ms. Presley. It is going so fast. I know I am long overdue for an update, so I will do the best I can to get caught up. I have been going to the doctor every 2 weeks and I have been having sonograms every 4 weeks. My weight and blood pressure are on track. I had my last sonogram at 32 weeks and Presely was a little over 4 pounds. My stomach is measuring a little small, but since Presley seems to be growing well, there is no concern.

My sonogram at 28 weeks showed Presley to be breech and then the sonogram at 32 weeks showed her to be traverse (sideways). I have been trying all sorts of things to get her head down, but I am not sure that any theories really work. At my checkup on Monday, Dr. Stevenson is pretty sure she is finally head down. We will know for sure at my next sonogram. Please pray that she is head down and ready to go! I haven't heard good things about babies being breech.

I have my next sonogram on the 16th and as long as Presley is still growing, that will be my last one! I will also start going for a checkup every week. I cannot believe we are on the home stretch. This pregnancy is going so fast, but it has seemed harder than my first. I think chasing a 20 month old around and this awful heat wave are taking a toll on me, but I am hanging in there. I am carrying Presley a lot lower than I did Kiley, so it seems so much more uncomfortable. It hurts to sit, stand and lay down. I am trying not to complain because I know this part of it will be nothing compared to having two babies under the age of two!

We are really cherishing our time with Kiley. She is at such a great stage right now. She is so much fun to play with and she has been sleeping great! Her personality is really coming out and she becomes so animated at times.

We are slowly but surely preparing for Presley. We stocked up on diapers at our Pampers Party, and we put Kiley's big girl bed up in her room. She probably won't sleep in it for a few months, but she can start to get acquainted with it. I still have a lot to hang in the nursery and promise to post pictures once it is done. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we count down the days until we get to meet Presley!
