On Friday Night, we had Mikey's Annual Awards Banquet for his work. We were supposed to have it at a place up in Plano, but it went out of business at the last minute and it ended up being at the Scottish Rite Cathedral downtown. It was a very neat place. Marmee came to stay with Kiley for our night out. We went to Michael and Katie Belvin's place in Uptown for drinks before and then arrived at the banquet around 7pm. Dinner was delicious. We had shrimp for an appetizer and the salad was good too. The main course was steak, asparagus and rice. It was very good, but a very small portion. We skipped dessert as usual, but it looked good. This year's theme was an Idol theme. We dressed up in Hollywood Cocktail Attire (whatever that is) and they had different Idol performances. It was very entertaining. Some of the agents and staff had some hidden talents that we didn't know about. They also had film of some Idol Rejects. It was very entertaining. Here are a few pictures from the night.A picture of me and the beautiful Mrs. Sara Rhine.

Mikey and his assistant, Ana. She is such an asset to his business and he couldn't survive the day without her. We love you Ana!

Saturday was a great day. We did absolutely nothing except lay on the couch and watch movies. All 3 of us! We couldn't remember when the last time we had a lazy day like this. We loved every second. On Saturday night, Uncle Ben and Aunt Gretchen came by and ended up staying for dinner and movies. We had their favorite, Jakes Hamburgers for dinner and then we had a movie marathon. It was a nice surprise and so much fun!
Daddie and Kiley watching a movie.

Sunday we had a big day planned. We had church in the morning and then our friends, Jason and Kelli Trent had a 30th Birthday Party for Jason at their house. Kiley was so good at church. She was wide awake all day. She was awake all morning in between feedings, so I thought for sure she would sleep through church. Nope, she was wide awake the whole time. When everything got quiet, she decided to sneeze, and got the attention of the whole pew. Then a couple minutes later, she went to sneeze again. Of course the whole pew looked over again, but this time it was a fake-out. It was so adorable and she had the whole pew laughing in the middle of the service. It was too funny...probably one of those had to be there moments, but if you have seen her fake out sneezes, they are adorable.
Kiley all ready for her big day!

Another picture of Kiley.

I can never pick just one favorite.

After church we came home for another feeding and got some chores done and then headed over to Jason and Kelli's. They had some delicious BBQ catered, and it was fun to spend time with everyone. Most of the people there were friends from my first job out of college. It was so much fun to catch up with everyone and find out what they are doing now.Kiley was passed around from friend to friend and she enjoyed every second of it. She got a small nap in, but again, was awake most of the time. After the party, we came home and watched the Grammy's as a family. It was a pretty good show this year!
Kiley is three months tomorrow, so we will have a mid week blog of her 3 month pictures!!
