Beatles Girl

When Marmee and Guy were in Las Vegas for their 31st wedding anniversary, they saw the Beatles Love show. They brought Kiley back an adorable onesie. Given that it was 95 degrees today, I put her in it and she looked adorable. Here are some pictures that I took. Nonie comes tomorrow and we are so excited!

Aggie Princess

Here is one that Daddie took of her in her Baby Einstein Bouncy Chair. It is her favorite toy. She doesn't need the WII Fit anymore. She is tall enough touch the ground by herself. Her new thing is to squeal while she is playing in it. She can also turn all the way around in it by herself. Such a big girl.

A fun week with Pat & Ryan

My Mom's sister, Pat, and her son Ryan came from New York to spend a week with us. We have had so much fun. On Monday and Tuesday, we met Marmee for lunch and we hung around the pool. On Wednesday, we went to the Arboretum.

On Thursday, we took a trip down to College Station. My cousin, Ryan is looking at colleges and is interested in A&M. He wants to live in a warmer climate. We drove down on Thursday morning. We stopped in West for Kolaches on the way and then arrived around 1130am.

We fed Kiley by the Pavilion before heading over to the Visitor center.

We couldn't go on the tour until 1pm, so we went over to the MSC Bookstore to kill some time. Kiley got an Aggie Princess onesie. It was so much fun to go on the tour.

Kiley slept the whole time. I guess we will have to bring her back for another tour sometime before she becomes an Aggie herself.

We even got to go out on Kyle Field.

After the tour, we went back to the parking garage and it was blocked off with fire trucks. A car inside had caught fire. Of course it was time for Kiley to eat again and her formula was in the car. We had to wait for about 30 minutes and then they finally let us in. The car was right by ours, but we didn't have any damage. We even got free parking!

We went over to Northgate and had Freebird's for lunch. We took a picture by 315. It is one of the bars Daddie used to work at and it is where I spent my 21st birthday.

It was so much fun to spend the day in College Station. I hadn't been down since Katie's graduation in 2006. It brought back so many great memories to walk around on Campus. College was such a memorable time for me, and it is where Mikey and I met. Hopefully we can go back for a game this year.

Pat & Ryan leave on Sunday and we are very sad. We hope to have a beautiful weekend so they can get some more sun before they go back up north.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day! After Mikey got home from work, Kiley and I lounged by the pool while Daddie planted flowers. The picture says it all.

Baird Family Fun

We had a fun family weekend. Friday night was movie night. The 3 of us stayed in and watched movies. On Saturday morning, Mikey took Kiley and I to breakfast. We went to a new place up here called the Egg & I. It was really good. We totally recommend it. After breakfast, we loaded up Kiley's stroller and went over to Addison Circle and walked around for a couple of hours. The weather was so pretty. It was a perfect day to be outside. After our exercise, we pampered ourselves with a manicure and pedicure.

On Saturday night, I had a girls night at my friend Tamra's house, so Daddie and Kiley had a date night. Kiley and I took a couple of pictures before I left. We didn't have much luck with her smiles, but she sure looks cute in her new hat that Marmee gave her last weekend.

Daddie and Kiley had a fun night together. They ate dinner and Daddie got in the hot tub. Kiley kept him company from her Bumbo. After the hot tub, they watched movies and Kiley went to bed. Here are a couple of pictures that Mikey took of Kiley. She is getting better at holding things in her hand, and she is learning how to use the phone....

On Sunday, we went up to Frisco to attend Mass with the Moradi's and Mikey's parents. After church, we all went to lunch at Gloria's in Frisco. When we got home, we turned golf on and the 3 of us took a great nap. We were exhausted from the morning festivities. Then, get this, we all went grocery shopping together as a family. We love when Daddie goes grocery shopping with us. It was a great end to our fun family weekend.
