Mikey cooked 30 hot dogs the night before. We could only have 12 kids at the party so we actually had more adults than kids.
As everyone was arriving we had coloring sheets on the table to entertain the kids.
Once everyone arrived, the firemen gave a safety lesson.
Then they got a tour of the fire station.
The fire man showed the kids all of his gear.
They got to take a picture on the fire truck.
Then they came back to the kitchen for lunch and cake! I had fun with the fire theme! For lunch, we had hot dogs with all of the toppings, little smokies, cheetos, chips, fruit and licorice.
During the party my food labels got misplaced. Of course they turned up when we got home...
Cake time!
Bentley was very excited about his gifts!
We made little favor bags with a flashlight and some fire flavored jolly ranchers.
Bentley had a blast at the fire station but he had a soccer game that he needed to get to. Then after soccer he couldn't wait to get home and open presents! He got a lot of great things!
He even got some money for his new wallet!
He had another round of presents for our family celebration.
Sunday ended up being a beautiful day. We sat by the pool and jumped on the trampoline.
Marmee made a big turkey dinner for super bowl Sunday.
Bentley's actual birthday was on Monday. This was his last television appearance until he is 95.
Grammy and Grampy were in Florida so they didn't get to come to the awesome party, but they did get Bentley a new bike!! He was so excited that it has a kick stand and a hand brake.
Mikey and I saved our big gift for his actual birthday. I made this shirt for him and we wrapped it up with Monster Jam tickets!
Bentley had a great birthday. Thank you to everyone who helped make it special.
