Hilary's Wedding!

On Friday night, I was in Hilary's Wedding. Everything was so beautiful and the bride was absolutely stunning!

My handsome date.

Mr. & Mrs. Jake Nelson

The wedding and reception were at Marie Gabrielle in Uptown. The ceremony was outside and the reception was outside and inside. This is a fun picture of all of our parents sitting together for dinner.

Hilary had 3 different flavors of cakes. Those are our bouquets on the table.

She also had a cream puff tower!

Everything was great! The food was delicious and all of the decorations were amazing. Congratulations to Hilary and Jake!

First Lake Outing of the Season!

Last Thursday evening, Mikey and I took the girls out on the lake for an evening cruise. We knew we would have our hands full with two of us and two of them. They did great!

Kiley helped Daddie drive.

She was such a big help!

It was a quick trip or a trial run if you will. We went out to the middle of the lake and fed the girls dinner and then came back in. It was Presley's first time. She didn't like the life jacket too much. She will have to get used to it!

Easter 2011

Happy Easter!

We had a great day! Presley's Godfather, Joe, and his girlfriend Cynthia met us for church on Sunday morning. They brought the girls some fun Easter gifts!

Godfather & Goddaughter

After Church, we headed south to Marmee and Guys for Easter Dinner. There were a lot of Easter Baskets for just two little girls. The Easter Bunny sure was good to them this year!

Marmee got the girls new Easter Baskets with their names on them. They are adorable! Grammy and Grampy got them some new clothes and Auntie K got them some new bathingsuits.

Ms. Kiley checking out what the Easter Bunny brought.

Auntie K playing with the girls.

I put Pres down to play and she looked so adorable in her dress. I had to get some pictures.

Another pose...

A bigger smile...

Sitting back up....

Pretty girl...

That's enough Mom, now time to play!

After Presley's modeling session, her boyfriend, Jacob came to play. Jacob is saying, "Mom, why are you making me do this?"

Presley just wants to play...

"Here, maybe if I put my arm around him..."

Now he is having fun!

Jacob: "Oh, man, there are two of them?"

The lovebirds in their swing.

Swinging was definitely the hit of the day!

The girls loved it!

Look at that face.

Presley is ready for dinner!

We had a wonderful Easter with our friends and family. Such a special celebration of Jesus. We love you Jesus. Thank you for your sacrifices. Love to all of our friends and family. We hope you had a wonderful Easter!

Eric & Melissa's Wedding

Last weekend we went to Bryan/College Station for Mikey's good friend, Eric's wedding, and we had an absolute blast! It was so much fun being back in our college town with our old college friends!

We drove into town around 4pm and went straight to Northgate. We met the bride and groom and some other groomsmen and their wives for a pitcher of beer. We sat outside. The weather was beautiful all weekend. We had the rehearsal on Friday night at 7pm and then we went to the rehearsal dinner at Cafe Capri in Bryan. It was delicious!

After dinner, we split up guys and girls for the bride and groom's last night out. I went out with the girls to Northgate and we had a great time. We went to the same bar that I spent my 21st birthday in and Mikey used to work. This was the only picture I took that night. I had fun with Stacy!!

We had the whole day on Saturday since the wedding wasn't until 7pm. I was so excited to hang with the boys, just like back in college. We loaded up the car and went on a mission to find a pool to hang out at. We had heard that the place to be was a pool at The District. We put it in our navigation in the Mercedes (a little different than the college days) and headed that way. We pull into the complex and it ended up being the same pool that we partied at when we were there. It was still the place to be! And to make it even better, it was Parents' Weekend and they were having a big craw fish boil at the pool. We had a blast! The boys: Derrick, Erick, Kavon, Miguel and Mikey.

After a few hours at the pool, we headed home to get ready for the wedding. The wedding was at a place called Astin Mansion in Bryan. The ceremony was in the front yard and the reception was in the back. The weather was perfect. My handsome groomsman!

This was my first time to be a groomsman's wife =).

Mr. & Mrs. Eric Rodriguez.

Mikey playing with the drums....notice I didn't say playing the drums.

After the cake cutting and bouquet toss, the DJ told us to look under our tables and announced that it was crazy hour. Under our tables, there was a basket of hats, masks, horns, confetti poppers and all kinds of fun stuff. Everyone got dressed up and went out on the dance floor and went crazy. It was so much fun! After the reception, we went out to a bar to say our goodbye's to everyone. Me with the beautiful bride and her crazy attire =).

We had SO MUCH FUN on our weekend away. The feeling of being back in College Station with our college friends was indescribable and an absolute blast. We can't wait to get together with all of you again very soon! Congratulations to Eric and Melissa!

Hilary's Bridal Shower

We hosted a beautiful bridal shower for Hilary at Maggiano's.

My signature sign in sheet =). Hilary's colors are yellow and gray and they are so pretty together. We had so much fun with them!

Addie helping with Kiley's lunch before the shower started.

Since we are not bringing the little girls to the wedding, we thought it would be fun to have them at the shower with us.

They were such good girls.

Pres hung with Aunt Gayle while we helped Hilary open presents.

Hilary had so many presents to open!

Opening one of our gifts...I am pretty sure she broke all of our bows =).
