Lake of the Ozarks 2016

We had another great trip visiting Uncle Bob at Lake of the Ozarks in August. Our road trip went smooth.

Daddie and Kiley went on their annual grocery shopping trip together.

Daddie bought Bentley his very own fishing pole.

Daddie and the kids spent a lot of time fishing this year. Presley loved it. The first time a fish bit on Bentley's line, he got scared and dropped the pole in the water. After that, he got better.

Mikey brought this one up to pretend that he caught it. It was actually already dead and he found it floating. I love this picture with Presley holding her nose.

It was so big and heavy. Luckily Daddie has big muscles.

We also did a lot of swimming this year. The air and water were very warm.

Uncle Bob took us on several boat rides.

Even baby came!

Bentley became quite the helper.

This night, the kids were a little over tired.

One afternoon we packed lunch and took the boat to a cove.

While we were eating lunch, a ton of fish came around our boat. Daddie was the only one brave enough to get back in.

I love these pictures of everyone helping Uncle Bob with his chore for the day.

We took our annual family waverunner picture.

Success!

I jumped off to swim in.

Daddie thought it would be fun to make everyone get off and swim in. The kids were not happy.

I am sure I say this every year, but Bentley is so in his element at the lake. He loves to be outside. One day he sat in the driveway and played in the rocks for almost an hour.

On our last full day, we spent the day with our favorite family, The Crawford's! We changed things up this year and we went to their house! They are seriously the best!! They had so many fun toys for the kids.

And toys for Daddie too!

Presley helped Nikki make punch!

Uncle Bob came with us for a while. We got a picture of all of us before he left.

They always make delicious pudding shots for us. They make kid friendly ones too!

It started to rain, so we took the party up to the house.

Presley and Nikki did some coloring.

After dinner, the kids got into the whip cream....

...And Daddie and Mommy got to sample some bourbon!

At the end of the night, we even managed to get a picture of all of us.

We had such a blast and it is always so hard to say goodbye. We absolutely love the Crawford's and cherish all of our memories we have made over the years. It was also hard to say goodbye to Uncle Bob. We have so much fun each year. I obviously don't have any pictures but I wanted to mention that we enjoyed watching the Olympics every day while we were in Missouri. We usually only watch in the evenings because Mikey is at work all day, but this year, we turned it on in the mornings and watched it all the way through prime time. Until next time...
