Hannah & Preston!!

We have been looking forward to Hannah and Preston's visit for quite a while and it did not disappoint. They flew into Austin on a Thursday and then went to East Texas to visit more of the family and then came to Mom and Dad's for Easter Dinner. They spent the night at Mom and Dad's and then the kids and I met them at Marmee's work on Monday to take them back up north with us! I had been watching the weather the whole week before because I know how much Hannah loves the pool and the sun and I was so glad that we were able to hang by the pool while they were here!

On Thursday, Mikey took the day off and we took all of the kids to school and had a fun day out. We played Top Golf and then went to the Country Club for lunch. Later that afternoon, Mikey, Hannah and Preston went to ride indoor go karts.

That Friday Evening, Mycah met us for an adult dinner out and we hung out at the house the rest of the night.

Hanging by the pool, playing Top Golf and going out to eat were so much fun. I love spending time with Hannah and Preston, but it is the little things that these two do that means the world to me. They take the kids on walks to go see the tractors, they get the kids out of the car and carry them into places when we are running errands, they went to Presley's school for chapel, they sat through an hour of gymnastics, they let the kids stay home with them when I went to the gym, they hold the kids on the couch, they read to them, they are patient with them and most of all, they love them unconditionally. I felt like I was on vacation, and nothing makes me more happy as a mother to see someone else truly love and understand my kids. Hannah and Preston are so amazing with children and they are going to make amazing parents. I love you guys more than you will ever know! Needless to say, it was a very tearful and hard goodbye and we can't wait to see them again this Summer.
