Bentley's Smash Cake Session!

Since we didn't do a big 1st birthday party for Bentley like we did for the girls, I thought it would be fun to do a smash cake session for him. I needed updated pictures of him and I just knew he would tear into the cake and take some great pictures. He loves food, he loves feeding himself, so of course he would love a big cake all to himself, right? Wrong! I purposely didn't feed him too much for lunch so that he would be hungry. He stuck his fingers into the cake and that was enough for him. He lost it. He hardly ever cries and he wouldn't stop crying. And then once he stopped crying, he would break down every time he saw the cake. I could not believe it. I don't like icing either, but I think it is pretty to look at. We finally gave him a ball to distract him and got some ok pictures. This boy is a bit unpredictable! He is still the cutest little boy I have every seen :-).
