They measured his size and he is 4 pounds. This puts him in the 47th percentile, which seems pretty average, but then she told me he is actually big and will be about 8.5 pounds if I go full term! Wow! Kiley was 5'15 and Presley was 7'2, so he could be quite a bit bigger! This is a profile picture of him. It is the best one we got because he kept putting his hand over his face. You can still see his hand at the top of the picture.
When the sonographer was putting the wand at the top of my belly, I was so tender. I am all bruised from him being so big! She checked my spleen and kidney to make sure they were ok and then the doctor said the soreness is normal. He is big and tough!
I am thinking of getting rid of all of the girls clothes, so I wanted to make sure he is still and boy and YES he is. I will spare you of those pictures! After the sonogram, I saw the doctor and my blood pressure and weight were good. She said as of now, we will wait for me to go into labor. I am a little nervous with it being my 3rd and living so far from the hospital now. I think we will be ok as long as I don't go into labor during morning rush hour! I can't believe we have less than two months. After Christmas and New Year's, we will only have one month until he is here. I am so nervous to have 3 small kiddos, but after the sonogram, it seemed more real and got me more excited! I go back to the doctor on the 27th. I am not sure when or if I will have another sonogram. This sonogram was the last one where we will get an accurate measurement of his size. He already seemed so big in the sonogram that it was hard to tell what was what. I will post later with any more news!
