New York 2010

Kiley and I spent almost 3 weeks in New York and we had a great time! When we arrived at Rochester Airport, they had these fun chairs that we had to take pictures in!

Of course Daddie had to take a picture in the chair that was taped off.....

We spent the first 10 days in Dundee. The rest of the family from Texas (including Mikey and Mycah) was there the first 8 days, so we had a big crowd and stayed very busy. Kiley spent some quality time with Daddie while he was with us. Kiley was wearing pearls and playing with a monster truck.

Daddie took her for a ride on the Rhino.

On Friday, everyone went wine tasting. Since, I couldn't go, Mikey stayed with us and we went to my favorite Ice Cream place!!

Kiley, Emily (my cousin) and I ordering. It is the best soft serve ice cream ever!!

Daddie and Kiley waiting for Mommy to finish. Kiley had no interest in the ice cream, just the water bottle.

My cousin Hannah's boyfriend, Preston, brought this cool car over. Mikey and Matt wanted a picture by it before they went for a ride.

On Saturday, July 3rd, a majority of us went to dinner on the lake. We took the opportunity to take a family picture while we were waiting for our food.

Kiley looked super cute in her overalls.

After dinner, they had a DJ and fireworks right outside the restaurant. We weren't sure how Kiley would do with the fireworks because she doesn't really like loud noises and they were shooting them off right next to us. She actually loved them and would cry when they stopped. Watching fireworks with Daddie.

So I know I mention this every year, but every time our family is together there are at least 20 of us at all times. Our family dominated the dance floor all night.
The Mehlenbacher Clan doing the Cupid Shuffle. I had flashbacks of my wedding...

Kiley was such a trooper for being out past her bedtime.

We spent the 4th at my Aunt Kathy and Uncle John's house on the lake. Kiley was dressed in her red white and blue outfit that Grammy and Grampy got for her.

Look at little ms. priss....

She looks a little guilty in this picture.

Still trying to play with the corn...

It was unusually HOT this summer. We spent every day by water! We usually don't swim in Seneca Lake because it is soooo cold, but this summer was an exception. It was actually refreshing. Marmee and Kiley wading on the shore.

Mikey and I in Seneca Lake....the water was about 70 degrees....

On Tuesday night, we went to dinner at my Uncle Scott and Aunt Deb's. They had some beautiful Hydrangea that we had to get a picture of. Kiley was a little grumpy after our long day at the lake.

Kiley rocking with Grandma.

Most of the family left on Thursday, the 8th, including Mikey and Mycah. On Saturday, we went to my cousin Ryan's graduation party. This is my Mom's side of the family.

Some of Dad's side of the family was there too!

Look at this face.

Mommy & Kiley enjoying the party!

Sunday after the party, we went to Oneida Lake to spend the week with Nonie. We had such a relaxing week. We didn't leave the house once. I took Kiley's scrapbook up with me and got a lot of work done. I also read a book! It is so much fun to relax by the lake. Kiley loved playing "this little piggie" with Aunt Pat.

Kiley went swimming every day! She could care less about the temperature of the water. She loved it!

We had such a great trip!! Thank you to all of our New York Family for letting us stay with you and for feeding us such delicious meals. We miss all of you so much and can't wait to see you again soon!!
