The Beach!!

We recently took a weekend trip to La Jolla, California to attend a wedding. La Jolla is just North of San Diego. The wonderful couple Joy & Sam are very dear friends or our family. Joy was my babysitter when I was younger and we were so excited to be with them on their very special day! We flew in late Thursday night. We were affected by the American Airlines MD80 debacle, but we made it!!

We rented a cute little house just blocks from the beach. It was a very old house, but it was completely remodeled with all modern decor. I loved it! Friday the girls spent the day at the spa with the Bride and the guys hit the Torrey Pines Golf Course with the Groom. The rehearsal dinner was at a great seafood place on the beach.

Saturday we spent the day at the beach. We packed up a wagon with our cooler, towels, beach chairs, and walked down to the beach. The weather was gorgeous all weekend!! The wedding was on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It was absolutely gorgeous! The ceremony was so sweet and intimate, and the reception was a blast.

Sunday we checked out of our house and hit the beach for some last minute sun. Our flight home was delayed, but we made it home safely!!
